For journalism we have to write an opinion piece and it's due Friday. I've just been brainstorming a few ideas of what to write on. So far I have the following:

-The viewing on the internet of Sadam Hussein's hanging
-The Patriot Act (though I think it's been done before)

And yeah lmao...HELP

the hanging would be an awesome piece to talk about, although i'm sure at least one other person will want to take that topic. so go on a tangent. what i mean by that is, pick a particular part of the hanging that coincides with your morals. for example, no one was supposed to be able to film the hanging to begin with, but a cell phone "mysteriously" got passed security measures in place. however, had we not had footage, would it have turned into another bin laden circus with false claims of "he's dead he's dead, no need to worry, the bastard is dead!"?

What a great idea! Hehe, you could compare it to the old days...you know in Europe where everyone made a spectacle of people being hanged. How society...throughout history, finds entertainment in violence. And of course your own input on how you think the death penalty is wrong
