Well, I'm in NY, and having a great time. Things are incredibly relaxing here, and I've gotten to catch up on some feminist literature and "America: A citizen's guide to Democracy in Action" by Jon Stewart... it's hilarious. aww you have snow! i wish it would snow here :( oh well. i got a bunch of random stuff, including a cool new backpack to make up for the one that died last semester. i'm glad you're having fun in ny! guess who IMed me last night, cha cha charlie. he's so flaky but whatever, it was nice to chat with him (for over an hour?! lol). when do you get back to winston? i remember you said you get to go back early to asheville for RA training- you suck! i wanna go back early! anywho, ttyl :)

Ooh, I want to read that Jon Stewart book...The Daily Show is the only news I watch (hmm, that's a little sad). Anyway. I'm glad you're having so much fun in NY!

Feeling bad about relationships? Me too. I think it's b/c it's the holidays, or because it's winter, or something. I've been a little depressed about it lately too. *hug* Watch some Sex and the City! That's what I've been doing!

Sex and the City sounds grand! What season should i watch next? Is there a season where Carrie's hair is short? If so, I want to see that one, b/c i miss having really long hair... and i think that will make me feel better to see a pretty person with short hair! I hope u feel better btw! You should watch all the seasons in order, b/c otherwise you'll get the plot runied for you...they're all really good, the "Adian" plotline is pretty sad though. Annnnyway...Miranda's hair is really short (and red!) and I think it's really pretty. I also found these three pictures for you (and, come to think of it, they are inspiration for me too ever since I got my hair cut). I hope this is what you wanted:
