I'm willing to help with any sort of Civil War reenacting kit as well. Although I'm not up to par with 19th century men's garb, I have a good deal of patterns for the contemporary women's costume and would like to know what my male counterparts would have been wearing.

sounds fine. i have a few books that show detailed pictures of uniforms and i've found examples of patterns online. so how's island life going anyway??
