1. I friended you because we talked about it on AIM back in the day. ICly I wrote Beth, you wrote Spike; OOCly I was shy, you were stubbornly friendly. I'm thankful you were, you beautiful tropical fish.

2. Oh man. I associate you with Bebop and roleplaying and cats and staying up to write and talk characterization until the wee hours of the morning. And bachelorette party mad libs in which Trucco tends to all my snarky bridal needs.

3. Besides the fact that you're a talented writer/roleplayer and a caring friend? Besides the fact that it's fun to write with you? I really like that you can look past my unfortunate uses-contractions-when-the-opposite-is-what's-really-meant superpower when we're chatting.

4. I have too many! I'll go with a more recent one: how about the time I opened an envelope from you and dozens of icon-sized Trucco pictures fell out like stupidly attractive confetti.

I friended you: Because I noticed you'd friended me, I think, which was at some point while we were discovering we have ridiculous amounts of BSG feelings in common.

I associate you with: Beaches! Sprawling white-sand beaches complete with palm trees.

Something I like about you: That was have the above-mentioned ridiculous amounts of BSG feelings in common? Also, that you're apparently qualified to be Jean Barolay. Just borrow some of my hair and you're good. (Did I mention it was awesome to have you in ineedmyfics? That's our baby, and I was so proud of everyone involved this year!)

A Memory: That Epics rewatch date! I'm kind of rueful that group rewatch plans tend to go the way of round robins at pyramidofdreams (and I totally admit that I wasn't aggressively participating in that myself!), but they are a lot of fun when the planets align and they happen ( ... )

1. I friended you because you were another of the really nice and welcoming people who greeted me when I first joined Epics. And I thought it was cool that you're into anime, and I think I'm remembering right that you're in my area of the country too?

2. I associate you with Mr. Tambourine Man, thanks to your journal name!

3. Something I like about you is that you're so inclusive and friendly! And how can I not appreciate your Saul love?

4. I seem to recall that pretty early on after we became LJ friends you went on a trip to Disney World and checked in occasionally by phone. This stands out right now because I'm due to meet family down there next month myself!

Yes on both of those, actually! I'm not sure I knew/noticed before. (I can be astonishingly oblivious at times.)

ETA: I forgot to answer your question! Let's see. Other fandoms.

Harry Potter is a forever fandom for me and I love Harry/Ginny but will read almost anything.
Other forever fandoms: Sailor Moon (I love everybody but especially Minako), Haruhi Suzumiya (Haruhi/Kyon), K-On! (everybody).
