Let me preface this by saying I -never- freak out about a bad hair cut. Mainly because I know it'll grow out and be fine. Today however, is a different story. I asked the lady for "long, side swept bangs", what I got was "short, blunt cut nightmare bangs". They are in a word...hideous. There is no fixing them. I've cried like a baby over this and I

I swear that it seems like the schools that teach those people only teach them that everyone needs to have short, flat, old-person hair. I can't even count how many times I've heard a hairdresser try to talk women into cutting their hair short, or how often they've ignored the protests and done it anyway.

Of course, when they see me come in, they get this look of panic and ask if we're doing anything drastic, because I guess I look like the sort to cause a scene if they tried to cut mine short...

I hope you at least yelled a lot. They deserve that much. Should've given you a refund too, if it's that bad.

No, I didn't yell. I didn't even realize it until I had seen the finished product. And I was too nice to not tip. I should've just asked her to...I dunno, do SOMETHING. But at that point, what could she do? And really, the rest of the hair looks fine, it's just the bangs that are...wrong, so very wrong.
