So my uncle leaves next weekend..for five weeks basic training and then from there straight to iraq...its crazzy, im scared shitless, i love him so much and im afraid to let him go...ughhhh...it scares me...My dad told me his expertise is heavy machinery and rebuilding things like water and streets and shit like that, so i hope thats a safer bet

that suks, i actually leave for basic on july 5th... which suks cause i barely get to have the summer for anything fun. but your uncle will be fine. even the least safe position over there isnt too bad, and his is low risk as is, so dont worry bout him.

I'm sure he'll be okay. I know how you feel though, my uncle Jeff jsut got back form Iraq this fall and it was suuuch a relief...but don't worry too much.....he'll be back bfore youknow it
