Because nothing is more funny than making feminists fume. And I say this as a man who is marrying a feminist, and who considers himself a feminist. But seriously. Uttering the phrase "barefoot and pregnant" around ardent feminists, just to see how they react, is freakin' hilarious. It doesn't mean you mean it... but it's a good test of whether someone can take a joke.

Exactly. Actually, my old friend at work sent it to me. I used to work in an office where I was the only girl, and everyone bossed me around. Ok, well, it was my job to get bossed around. But they send me stuff like that because they know that I know I'm smarter than them all

Feminism

The picture is hilarious. Some strident feminists liken teasing about "subservient women" to racist remarks directed toward racial minorities. Sorry, doesn't compute in my book. There's a big difference between teasing someone for the opinion he/she holds and teasing someone because of the color of his/her skin. One thing is purely mental, the other is just a part of a person's genetics beyond his/her control (well...unless he/she goes after some extremely expensive cosmetic surgery). I'm probably one of the most Pro-Life individuals you will ever meet. In fact, sometimes my focus on the issue borders on obsession. However, I use the teasing of my peers in this regard as a needed reality check. Our opinions should never consume us.
