[Grune is out picking flowers. This isn't exactly an unusual pastime for her, but what is unusual are her slower movements and more frequent pauses. She seems almost…melancholy? Is this possible? Certainly, she doesn't quite seem to be her usual energetic self. It appears the aftermath of the latest event has taken its toll on even her

[and at the lake, there is (1) Mercury Adept. Lost in thought and intensely staring at the...water lilies. Herp. Such Adepts tend to be fond of bodies of water, after all. Though he might not notice Grune is there right now.]

[Oh, someone likes the water lilies she and Ami have planted! ...Even if they're really tiny right now.] Good afternoon!

[She comes to stand beside him.] Do you like water lilies?

[Fenimore spent most of the day shut up in her room after she arrived back earlier and may have gotten unfairly angry with Stella for the loss of most of her clothing. Eventually, though, she left to find a couple of things that had gone missing which were particularly important, and it's that trip she's just returning from when she sees Grune in the garden.

There's enough off to make her stop, but she hasn't realized that Grune is melancholy yet. She's too absorbed in her own issues just yet.]

Grune?

[Look up and smile. Always smile for your friends, so they can be happy.] Good morning, Fenimore. It's such a nice day, isn't it?

[xelhes]

[Fenimore doesn't actually return it, not in the mood to do so.] ...I guess the weather's okay. The rest of it could use some work.

[She sits up from where she had been weeding. Oh dandelions.] Oh, my, is something the matter?

[Grune had spent quite a while picking her violets, all to be sure she had made the prettiest bouquet possible. When she was at last satisfied, she wandered her slow way to...Dhaos' apartment. It wasn't their home anymore--in fact, it had never been. At least...she didn't think it had been.

She knocks on the door, preparing her smile and her apology carefully as she waits for Dhaos to answer. Soon, everything would be all better.]

[Grune keeps on waiting patiently. She hums a little to keep herself company, but her song fades away far sooner than it would ordinarily.]

[Emil is still a little bit melancholy from the experiment himself, mostly because he had the chance to have what he always wanted - a family - only to have it taken away by the knowledge that it was just another experiment. He'll just be wandering around the edge of the lake looking distracted at the moment. Bother?]

[Bother! Grune wanders over from where she had been, ah, cooing over the lilies, then calls out:] Hello there!

[Emil hadn't even realized there was anyone else around, so that voice is enough to cause him to jump a bit and look around to see where it was coming from. But Grune looks harmless enough and he quickly relaxes.]

I'm sorry, I didn't know there was anyone else here.

Oh, that's all right. [She looks at him, trying to place him. Has she met him before, or is this a new friend?]
