Bought a home

I don't make resolutions, I'm not that organized about my self-progress

A serious relationship

May 14th, my closing date.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Buying my first home

I don't think I really had a big "failure", though business could have been better.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Well, I've been sick for like 3 weeks now, so kinda.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Again, my first home, this keeps coming up. (I suppose that was the most interesting part of this year for me)
14. Where did most of your money go?
The purchase of the home, or my retirement plans, the two combined is where like 90% of my money went.

First home.

I have no idea

I can't think of a particular book I liked this year

Oh man, WAY too many. I'm going to go with "Experiments in Mass Appeal" by Frost*

My first home, (this answer is ruining the point of this whole thing!)

probably going to go with "a serious relationship" again. I think I'm finally developing "needs", I'm not sure how happy I am about that.

I didn't see a lot of films this year, in the theaters anyway.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 23, I think I was at work, and my coworkers threw me another party.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Some type of stress-reduction technique. Possibly if I just had a lot less time to "think"
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Mostly suits for work, and a t-shirt and track pants otherwise. I didn't really wear jeans all year.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The automakers bailout. While I agree that something needs to be done, I do not feel the government is approaching the problem the right way. Long story.

I've missed Kate since she moved. I missed my other friends since they moved as well, but they've been around more often.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
probably one of the new people at work, we have an interesting crew.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008:
The young part of our lives is spent selfishly. The real challenge in life comes when we begin to think about others, because the more people you have in your life, the harder it gets to ensure you're always doing what you need to do for all of them at the same time. (And I haven't even started a family yet, imagine how THAT's gonna turn out)
