. . . Avoid Dollywood at all costs. There was a really nice hotel on the indian side of the smokeys about 10 years ago when we were last in the SouthEast. And if you are feeling up to it, go and hike the boogerman trail on the north side of GSMNP near Catalooche. http://www.nps.gov/grsm/planyourvisit/upload/trails2005.pdf or bike the Cade's Cove loop - although I think it's still open to cars this early in the season.
