Reflection Time w/ Lauren...

So, today in my live journal, I've decided to reflect.  I'm not quite sure what I'm going to reflect about, but ya know...I'm sure it will come to me as I'm typing...

I was terrified before my freshman year here... the size of the school and the fact that I only knew a handful of people scared me like no other. (I actually cried in the car at the orientation program) But really, and I'm not just saying this to make you feel better, but because its true; you will make friends and lots of them. You'll make friends on your dorm floor, you'll meet even more of them in the caf, you'll sit next to them in class first as random people, and they may become your biggest resource up here. You'll still talk to your real friends from high school, and while you'll talk them and see them less frequently, everytime you do get to talk and see them it will be soooo much more special and exciting. (Road trips to other colleges and visits from friends are some of the best things in life!) I think that every incoming freshman has these feelings that they dont know anyone, or that they dont know enough people, and everyone is just excited to start meeting people; the problem will stop being "i dont know anyone" and ( ... )
