I sit here at my computer, day to night. It uses up unfathomable amounts of electricity, in keeping me entertained. Recently however, it has caused a curious phenomenom to arise

well i have that problem too with my work trousers, they r so static crackle and stick to my leg when i take them off. so i dont think its your computer as much as rubbish synthetic fibres they use for the cheaply made excuses for trousers they make us wear so ppl in the street know to mock us.
However saying that.....ur MP3 is a mystery! lol

Yeah I know, but all the static stays in my trousers, and the charge messes with the internal electrical charges in my MP3 player.

Plus these trousers are great, I chose them myself.

But what is it that your twowsers are made out of then eh? Worky ones or whatever the feary is right, me thinks. It's the plastic fantastic. I get it from stockings and from thermals which are made from recycled coke bottles and anything polyester even when I've stayed well clear of computer thiny anythings. But not from cotton. And wool, well, that does do strange things to the hairs!! Test that theory on the mp3. That's just an oddity...
