Shades of Gray

I have always prided myself of dismissing Shades of Gray. I have always believed and "known" that they do not exist. There is Black or White, Wrong or Right, Good or Evil, Love or Hate... you get my point

Thank you so much for the compliment. I was worried that I got carried away with my black and white theme. I think it is the pain of it all that makes this entry beautiful. It has to come from a dark place, if I wrote it while I was happy it would of lost its luster.

I completely agree with writing from the point of pain to get the truest feeling down. Mostly but not totally agreeable on the black and white issue.
Each situation can be decided as a black or white decision. I just don't think those kinds of decisions can be used on a large generalization such as abortion for an example.

There is just to many variables into the reason why a woman may need or want one. My thoughts would be if a woman is assaulted and becomes pregnant then she should have the decision to abort. On the other hand if a woman just has sex unwisely and becomes pregnant then she should possibly not be allowed that option for her and his bad judgement.

Abortion isn't black or white but each individual case is.

Not trying to offend but give my point of view on how things can be seen. Thank you for letting me state my opinion.

Gray area

I fight the gray areas myself. My conscience has recognized only the gray areas as of late, so I totally understand your perspective. The older I get, the gray area seems to be the easiest "justification".
Thank you for re-opening my vision.

Thank you for your comment, it was nice revisiting this entry... healthy... how I miss writing. I'm happy that it stuck a cord with you... it's what it was meant to do.
