Well, I am an uncle.

My brother Eric's wife just had a c-section and gave birth to a baby girl. She has had a lot of problems along the way with his baby, seems that she is ok though. I am just glad that both she and the kid are ok.

I am not sure it will sink in that I am actually an uncle until I see the kid though. Poor kid.

Congratulations!

Being an aunt or uncle is actually lots of fun. Kids get to be more fun as they grow, and you get the entertainment without the diapers. It's your job to teach your niece to say things like, "You're not the boss of me!"
