The most I have ever had here was nine people, back when my family got along with each other, and I was married to a wonderful woman. I've always admired your ability to hang on to your identity while everyone, girlfriends, parents, whoever.. were trying to change you. Thank you for sharing.

Your mother has always used money as a club to beat you with.. and I find it admirable that you have always treated her with love (sometimes tough love, but love).
