USA Thanksgiving Holiday

As has been a 'family tradition' since I got my house, I hosted Thanksgiving at my place. The most I have ever had here was nine people, back when my family got along with each other, and I was married to a wonderful woman. *hugs* best of luck, and I hope things work out for the best. If you are truly enjoying the new job, and it is meeting your financial needs sufficiently that should be enough. Having a life, and things that you enjoy doing are what make this life worth living.

do what you have to do.
being financially responsible is a laudible goal.
but only you can judge what the correct balance is for your financial health.

I've always admired your ability to hang on to your identity while everyone, girlfriends, parents, whoever.. were trying to change you. Thank you for sharing.

Your mother has always used money as a club to beat you with.. and I find it admirable that you have always treated her with love (sometimes tough love, but love).

Hopefully soon your mother will realize you're an adult (even if you don't want to admit it) and can make your own decisions.
