Everyone is a critic. I appreciate the few people who care, truly and completely. As always, it is great to entertain the cruel, confused or bored. I'll check web traffic at this blog to see if it is worth publishing any of my crude ramblings writing. So long for now! Thanks for reading!

This is so humiliating, I hope no one I know reads ( Read more... )

I noticed that you deleted the journal yesterday, but I knew you had this journal, so I wasn't terribly worried. I'm sorry people were so rude to you. People are weird on the Internet. It's like they assume because they are anonymous (they think) they can say anything, all in the name of "honesty." People seem to forget common courtesy and consideration of others.

Thank you for remembering, it will be good to keep in touch.

Yeah people can be rude, but it wasn't just rude internet comments, I ticked some setting forbidding anon comments anyway, it was awkward real life comments especially. I know how they found it, I never should have looked this up anywhere except at home. That was bad enough, I dread my family finding it; at least I can leave a workplace without any explanation. I started feeling increasingly uncomfortable & paranoid, so I decided deleting it was the best option.

I had a few other reasons too. It is too hard to be authentic and write for an audience simultaneously. Plus the disorder can make it difficult to know what is and isn't appropriate to share with others.

It's okay, I can't change what has already happened. Life goes on.

I don't want to tell you what to do, it's up to you, obviously, but I would recommend not having a public journal on the Internet. It's too easy for people to find you. I keep my LJ/DW accounts "friends only." There's still a chance people can find you, but at least (unless something goes horribly wrong with the servers or security on a given day) they can't read your journal without your permission. I've had my LJ for 8 going on 9 years, and I've never had a problem. You've seen the stuff I write ( ... )

I have read your blog, I dunno why I'm worried or insecure. Nothing happened really, it was just awkward when & how my coworkers let me know they found it. Yeah, I dunno plenty of people talk about personal matters here. This is more than I can process right now, I need a break from blogging.

OK - I'll still be here when you get back. Sorry you have such nosy coworkers.
