and here i am feeling pretty good about finishing 2 in 4 weeks, lol! :)

i was talking with mike last night about reorganizing the apartment. i have no idea where a massage table is gonna fit. it doesn't have to be up at all times, and i can definitely move stuff around when i need it... i wasn't planning on setting up a prof area in the apartment anyway... more importantly, i really want/need to create a space for meditation. on the floor in front of the window in the library (a small alcove off the bedroom - bookshelves on one side, futon on the other, not much space inbetween) could work, it's just a little cramped... and i'd also like to devote a space primarily for meditation and yoga. i was only half teasing when i suggested getting rid of (his bed most nights)the decrepit couch in the living room and moving the futon out there.

*shrugs* work with whatcha got.

glad to hear you happy and i can't wait to meet you and david in person! :) *hugs*

they were both quick reads, though. :)

cool! Good luck with re-doing your space. the great thing about a meditation area is that it's easy to make one that's small and comfortable--or even one that's mobile. :) One thing I try to do whenever i go somewhere for a long enough time that I want to be able to meditate is, i only take a few of my meditation accessories--only my incense burner, incense, and stones, usually--because i don't want to get attached to the idea that the place IS the meditation.

I can't wait to meet you, either! =D *hugs* I'm reading ishmael to David, because i want to be able to talk with you about it at length, but I want him to know what we're talking about too! So far he loves the book, which I knew he would...another good reason to be reading it with him. :)

thanks for the encouragement, i'd like to hear more about these stones!

also, thanks for the heads up on Ishmael. i'm glad that you enjoyed it enough to go to such lengths... i remember the concepts and intent behind the story, however it's been a few years since i read it and the details are a little fuzzy. i'm sure it will all come rushing in as soon as i flip through it, or we start discussing it, which ever come first! =)

*is giddy with anticipation*

haha. my stones...they're actually those little glass things you put in fish tanks, but the point is the color and texture and shape, more than anything. something to soothe the tactile and visual senses. :)

me too!! :)
