I'm in pain!
My fourth of July was pretty good. I started by going to my aunts having a BBQ, then we left around 8:30. I wanted to light some fireworks cuz I mean whats 4th of july if you yourself didnt catch anything on fire. So we stopped, bought some fireworks then headed home. My grandma and I got home and waited for it to get dark. As soon as it did I rushed outside grabbed the lighter...and thats when everything started going wrong. Most of the ones I got were duds, I was pissed cause they were the expensive kind too, One of the things I lit backfired and burned the hell out of my hand, so then I took these "smoke bombs" all six of them laid them next to each other twisted the fuses together so I wouldnt have to light each one, well turns out they werent smoke bombs, they were cracking balls all of them exploded all around me almost catching my hair on fire. Yeah my clothes ruined. But here is the topper of everything. You know those snake things(harmless little thing) Well I wanted to light them high up so I could see so I put it on the recycle bin(but my grandma told me to put something underneath it)Well we had this small crappy mirror so I put them on that. The first two I did were fine but then the last two started making the mirror really hot then all of a sudden crack. The mirror exploded into a million pieces. I have a nice cut on my face and all over my arms. God, I am one smart cookie. Now I'm inside watching the fireworks, I should be safe doing that.
