A Day of Mourning

Gary Gygax is dead.

I think I'm more saddened by the fact that no one I know seems to care than the fact he's passed on.
Even I am being pretty blase about the news. It's not that he won't be missed but how old WAS he? I mean, when it's your time, it's your time, you know?

We'll miss you Gary.

I've found it so interesting that I have not seen one word about it in the media, just on Livejournals.

Actually, I saw the news all over all of the blogs and web comics that I read.

It IS very sad that he has passed on. He is an inspiration and he will be remembered.

Apparently, he had been quite ill for the last few years. He passed at the age of 69.
