Mrs. Hudson is so sweet but reading about her was also kinda sad for me because she's still herself but different because of the age she lives in. She can't pair her boys together anymore. :(

Sherlock and John dancing, kyaa~ ♥

More seriously though, I wonder if John will ever be rid of the limp. I'm guessing that the tremors are actually nerve-based rather than kinda psychomatic, like in the show. Poor thing.

Oh just lovely, as usual :) I particularly like this as we haven't really seen the boys being together around someone else - But it is so much nicer when they're alone again ;) I'm glad we'll eventually find out whether Mrs Hudson knows/cares, as I have been wondering.

I agree with all the above comments, Sherlock especially is just perfect here. And hooray for non-gelled curls! Because he knows that's how John likes it :3

Wonderful. Thank you, again. I am over the moon whenever you update :)

Oh, I do look forward to every installment of this series, even though I'm terrible and rarely comment. This one was particularly warm and lovely, and it had a really good sense of the physical, streaming sunshine and dancing Sherlock, dusted-off hands and playing footsie under the table. I love how much Mrs H adores both her boys, too. Delightful!

Awww, boys. And aww Mrs Hudson! She's fab, in all time periods, with her matter-of-fact attitude toward all of life's little annoyances, like murderous CIA agents roughing her up or a few pesky bombs and a spot of rationing.

And I second all the comments about your description of Sherlock's physicality; he is a very physical person, always moving (sometimes graceful, sometimes, er, not) and you capture that so well!
