Oh this is really interesting, I'll have to go back and read the rest of the 'verse now.

I'm glad you enjoyed! :) Everything is much easier to navigate on the 'verse tag on AO3. :)

had to come by here, after first reading at AO3 where I seem pathologically unable to leave comments, to leave a comment. lj just seems to = comments while AO3=kudos in my world. sorry ( ... )

I squealed loud enough to disturb the cat when I saw this - more WWII!fic! Hooray! Though I admit I need to go reread them...been too long for me to remember what Sherlock's so upset about. -_-

I'm sorry it's been so long! RL is the worst at unexpected surprises.

Thank you! There are a few more parts left to go before we're done, don't worry. :)

Hrm. I...don't quite know what to make of this part. I haven't commented on any chapters before because I tend comment when a fic is complete.

I really don't understand the role that Victor has in all this. I agree completely with the other reviewers that the previous parts where you implied he was a "bad guy" and that it had turned Sherlock into a teenage!Woobie had jumped the shark for me. And, that Sherlock's verbal abuse of Victor made me feel sickened by Sherlock and very badly for Victor...no matter the history of 'poilte society' abuse is abuse and Victor was undeserving.

It feels like you're certainly doing the Uber trope of Abusive!Victor. Here's Victor 'pretending' to be the nice guy but he's got (dun, dun dunnnnn) ulterior motives. If this is the way you're moving I'll have to stop reading this. Not because of your lack of talent but because of the fact that it is such a trope and it just seems a weak excuse to have 'poor widdle Sherlock has feelings ( ... )

I'm sorry you feel that way and that what I've written doesn't mesh with how you feel the story should have proceeded. I'm glad you enjoyed the series whilst you did.
