This is the poem I'm reading for the poetry workshop. It's a conglomeration of the poems I posted here. That entry also explains the New Sentence style in which this poem is written.

I really like this idea. I like that each sentence can put you in a whole different scene. It's quite 'stream of conciousness', but as if the narrator is really easily distracted. It kinda feels like a whole day of someone's life, summed up in a paragraph.

I really really like it and wanna try some of my own. In particular I like the line, 'We asked your mother to watch the plants, but she forgot and went to Vegas.'

Did you just choose your favourites from the others, or was there a process at all? 'cause I have to say I also love these two lines:

Root menu, title menu, special features, feature film and no one can find the fucking remote.

You’re still in bed, though you woke up for Oprah.

I did mostly just choose my favorite lines, though I think this poem was created from the two written on 29 January, rather than the earlier two. It's a really fun style of poetry, because you can be completely random and asinine if you want and call it poetry. :)

Yay it was one of the ones that I liked... I feel special, really for no reason!

Lol. It shows you have...some sort of poetic taste. Not sure if I'd call it good because it's my poetry you like...but it's not bad, either. :P Hey, you should have a letter in your mailbox soon. Go check your mail! :D

I really liked it, Kate. Especially "She reads Webster’s Dictionary to pass the dim hours between his leaving and returning." I can relate. ^_^
