I'm home in MA for about a week and a half, which has the basic meaning of "I am not currently at work and therefore I am happy." I made the drive yesterday in 9.5 hours, which is pretty good time. Hit a bit of traffic on the Garden State Parkway, but nothing too rotten ( Read more... )

I would dearly LOVE to, but, as usual, my time home has pretty much been scheduled for me. Meh. I do plan to make another visit home over the holidays, so I will definitely let the maternal unit know that I may have other friends to visit with. :)

And believe you me, I would have stopped if I wasn't in such an all fired hurry to just get through that area. I drive back south next Sunday (the 7th) - I'll give you a call when I'm on the road.

How far are you from the Parkway/NJ Pike?

Not sure I never drive on it myself but I think it's not too far. I'll check on a map.
