Please, for the love of sanity, DO NOT TALK ON THE PHONE INCESSENTLY TO YOUR BOYFRIEND OR GIRLFRIEND!!!

It's rude, it's annoying, and it's nauseating!

It's called e-mail, IMing, and short conversations. If they live near you, go see them! If they don't... absence makes the heart grow fonder. But whatever you do, please, don't talk on the phone all

Having a little problem are we with someone talking sappy on their phone to their bf or gf?

I know that some people cannot just not talk to their significant other, myself included.

If it is a room mate or something, sit her down and tell her how you are feeling when she is on the phone and that maybe if she wants to talk all the time like that, ask her to leave the room so you are not at ears length.

Now idk if that is the problem, but I hate seeing my friends all mad and stuff, so I'm just trying to help.

Yeah...

I don't mind people talking to them... just not EVERY time they enter the room and for HOURS on end to the point of making it impossible to do anything productive in said room.

Thanks... we've tried... pretty much her opinion seems to be that of "Well, my man lives an hour off campus and therefore I have the right to talk to him whenever I want for however long I want (usually in the bathroom thus having the phone cord draped across the room and us unable to use the bathroom) regardless of anyone else's need to use the phone."

And it's not like you can get cell phone reception up here... Anyway, I'm working on not letting it bother me. Rather employing a mind over matter outlook on it.
