so my eye still hurts like homeade sin (which is a lot worse than store bought sin, i tell you what)...i guess if i had to describe my eye pain i'd have to say it feels like someone took a sandspur and jabbed it under my eyelid, stamped down on it really hard, then flushed it out with alcohol...that's what it feels like....a lesser man would not be

i made no claim about the totality of the book, only that so far it isn't as good as his previous efforts....now it would be one thing if i said this book sucks, but that is not what i said, i merely suggested that so far, 35 pages into it, it isn't as good as other book...maybe after page 43 i will retract my previous statement...
i'm not one to review books at all, though...i think reading is a private matter and should be kept that way...i have nothing against book groups, as such, oprah selected some fine books (the reader, the posionwood bible, beloved) but i realy have no interest in discussing lit with anyone...
now american idol...i'll talk about that until the cows come home...

actually it's fun to discuss lit sometimes...when i was in grad school i HAD to join those damned study groups and what i hated was that folks always pointed out the blatantly obvious.."i think kozinsky is using symbolism here..." wow...that's an insight...
