So, sometime this next week or so, Thalya and I are switching servers to Landroval, unless we find a really good reason not to. Windfola is so underpopulated that it's impossible to find pick-up groups for anything, and the whole server seems east-coast based. Since we play only at night and are in the pacific time zone, it's a ghost town at the ( Read more... )

My guild, the Palantíri, seem like they might be a good fit for you. Although I'm not a role-player, we do have a contingent of very active, very regular members who do. We have a good group of Freeps and Creeps as well, so if you like Monster Play you'll find good company. PUGs are encouraged - I joined this guild largely because of how well I was treated during one, actually. Solo play is by no means frowned upon, so you won't find yourself being forced into a group. Raids are a pretty regular occurrence, but attendance is never mandatory. A lot of our members are on EST, which might be a down side for you, but I think it's safe to say we have a good number of night owls; I don't think you'd go without company.

tl;dr Give us a look and see what you think. Our Kin leader's main is Mosby, and he's usually available to chat (unless he's keeping us alive in some raid or other :P ).

Poesey, Landroval

I'm on the East Coast, so that might be why I don't have the same problems playing on Windfola. You might want to consider Elendilmir as well, since they're the unofficial Oceanic server and should have people on at all hours. I have one character there since my husband wanted to play on a larger server, and it seems largely populated to me.

I just moved to the west coast so stuggling with the time change with all my east coast friends has been difficult. But I don't think I could ever leave windfola, I have too many friends on that server. I have my own kin which is just small right now so its probably not what you are looking for but we do encourage all aspects of the game and all playing styles. If you leave, I hope you find what you are looking for! :)

I'm personally on Brandywine, one of the highest populated servers if not the highest... I really don't follow up on that, lol. Actually had the last kinship I was in transfer off to Windfola because they hated how busy Brandywine gets, especially during the free weekends (I frankly love it, because I like the prospect of getting group quests done whenever I want).

I just recently joined a kinship, Order of Middle Earth, that has nearly 1500 members (including alts), and it's an incredibly nice kin. Run groups together daily... as far as raiding, I'm not 100% on as I don't have a 60 character yet (personal promise to my husband to not explore MoM without him, and he's slow and hard to motivate to play MMOs with most days). I live in Mountain, and mostly during the day, and see groups being pulled together at all hours. But I mention this kinship because they span five servers... Landroval being one of them.
