So far so good. I'm working on saving Avorthal currently, which is pretty difficult on solo, but! I'm gonna keep trying.

Valaraein is an elf hunter, too (level 60) on Landroval. You chose the right class! ;)

Hey there! I'd started with WoW in '05, have played GW since '07 but mostly solo or with my boyfriend (I love that you can easily play solo if you want to), switched to WAR and finally gave in and started Lotro. ;) It got a lot easier to start playing because a friend of mine had started playing the game some time earlier.

Anyway. Welcome to the game! :o)

(I play on European servers, too, so unfortunately, I can't come and wave hello to you in game)

Yeah GW spoiled me. I always try to do everything on my own and it annoys my (very rare) party members.

Aww that's a shame :( Everyone seems to be on the EU servers

I spent some time grinding in Lotro because I couldn't find any more solo quests. But then, I actually enjoy grinding once in a while. Especially when I'm watching a film and I don't want to concentrate on the quest stories. ;)

GW also spoiled me in making it easy to not bump into idiots... but that's the disadvantage in all open world MMOs, I guess. ;) On the other hand, I've also had a few nice encounters with other players where we even managed to do group quests!

I have Emelwing, a 60 Elf Hunter on Windfola, as well as a whole host of alts. Hunter is a good first class, although if you stay you may end up making more.

Hiya! I play over on Brandywine and I am a former WoW addict too. But I enjoy LOTRO so much more. =) If you feel like checking out Brandywine, look me up - I have a hobbit hunter named Roseleaf, and my kinship, The Knights Who Say Ni, is quite a bit of fun.
