I think you usually let other people cook for you on your birthday. [ A beat. ] And happy birthday, yeah?

Oops...! I didn't know this had turn on.

Oh, well...I love to cook for others so that's a bit different for me to let someone do that and thank you very much.

These things do that, yeah? [ Turn on by themselves, he means. ]

I guess that makes it a little different. D'you have ingredients?

They seem to like doing that if they're not shocking you. [Fickle things they are. She likes her old cutsey communicator.]

Hm...I'm not exactly sure. I know some ingredients are kinda hard to come across than others here. I wonder if there's even any fresh apples around...

Oh wow! Happy birthday! Though...isn't it supposed to be someone else who cooks for you... [God Taiwan, you are such a hypocrite]

Thank you.

Well, I like cooking so, someone cooking for me is real different so it doesn't bother me that much.
[Plus, most of her friends can't cook...especially one certain blond.]

Mmhm, I don't think I can find anything I love to do more than cook.
[Other than martial arts and sports, but cooking is number one.]

How about you?

I don't think the days go by fast enough here to forget about your own birthday, honestly.

With all the recent things that's been happening I'm kind of surprised I remember.

Well, your own birthday isn't anything anyone would soon forget, right? Unless you just don't care about it, I suppose.

Well, it's never been that big of a deal for me, since I've been on my own for some time. Though my friends at home try to make a big deal about it.

It wasn't necessary, but I always thought it was sweet for them to make the effort.

Ah! Happy birthday to you. Things have been rather busy lately, hasn't it?

Are you sure you wish to cook for yourself? I could bring something over instead.

Thank you. You could say that, but I think things have finally simmered down thankfully.

Oh, no no...! You shouldn't trouble yourself doing anything for me. I've so use to cooking for myself it's kind of foreign for someone to cook for me.

if you truly enjoy cooking, than perhaps that is a gift in itself.

I enjoy it as well. I don't have any apple, but I have other canned fruit. I could bring them to you.

Always has been. It's a nice feeling watching people enjoy the food I cook for them.

You do? [That's tempting...!]

...

It wouldn't be a hassle for you would it?

It's belated, but happy birthday. Although... if it's your birthday, isn't that the time you should let someone else cook for you?

Thank you.

Ah, I suppose? Though I've always lived on my own for such a long time, it seems strange having someone else do that. I enjoy cooking for myself and others so it's never a chore.
[You're so WEIRD Mako.]

Ah, I see. Even so, it wouldn't be bad to let someone else do it on a special occasion, right? Like the gift they got for you is their own food, or something like that.
