I am sick of journos describing Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's 2 kids as "adopted"... yeah, so they ARE adopted, but they are also, just their kids..... why make the distinction? when somebody adopts children, they become parents in every way; they ARE the parents of that child.

so often people just don't seem to THINK before they speak. if they imagined themselves in the same situation, how would they behave? when they'd figured that out, it would be ok to ask, I suppose. but yeah, people are just so stupid, so often...:/

However, I do think part of the reason they always mention that Tom and Nicole's kids are adopted (especially now) is because Tom was unable to get 2 wives pregnant and suddenly Katie and BAM!
In all honesty (and Im being so serious here) I think some scientology person impregnated her. I dont think theyre biologically Tom's.

Sorry, as an Ausie (and having grown up around the corner from Nicole Kidman) I am programmed to hate Tom and anyone else that hurts 'Our Nic'.

Nicole is the bee's knees. love her! and i've never been a fan of Tom. The whole scientology thing is seriously odd and i've always admired Nicole for sticking to her guns as a Catholic rather than let the kids be brought up ass a Scientologist..... i love how Katie Holmes has been saying for years how she's a devoted, catholic girl who'll stay a virgin until her wedding night and how important her faith is to her... then, sudden she's converted to Scientology and is up the duff..... BIZARRE!

what is scientology all about, anyway? I read somewhere that they believe that some monster-type came from space and - I don't know - brought life with him. and that they have to pay lots of money to something. don't know then if this was total crap but anyway...:/ and what was all that tom eating the placenta about?! 'it's part of the scientologist rite.' that was mentioned in a tabloid. true or false? false I hope...

I dont know heaps about scientology although the guy who invented it is a science fiction novelist once famously quoted as saying "the easiest way to make money is to invent a religion"... like duh.
