Basically everything a dork like me could ask for, plus a surprise Tony/Bruce bonus.

The Avengers owns my soul right now. While I'm mostly shipping Tony/Steve, the Bruce/Tony wacked me upside the head and did a dance. Out of many brilliant character dynamics in this movie, this one is my favorite. Tony is so happy to finally find someone who he can have a scientific conversation with and they are cute together, and then Bruce snatched Tony from the air while he's freefalling. *collapsed under the feels*

I was totally prepared to hop on the Tony/Steve wagon! I've read enough fic! But... Tony/Bruce... they get each other, and Bruce so needs someone who gets him, who isn't scared, who makes him smile, who can match his scientific curiosity. Nnng!

Beyond the Pepper issue, I also feel guilty because everyone is all "Tony/Bruce is such a bromance, they're bros, SCIENCE BROS!" and I feel like the dirty slasher who wants to see them get it on too. Alas!

This is one of those rare fandoms where I'm shipping more than one or two pairings, most of which feature Tony, which doesn't surprise me at all.

Tony would make Bruce so happy. Well, maybe not normal people, since he has those anger management issues, but definitely not totally miserable all the time.

Don't feel guilty. I thoroughly enjoy the Pepper/Tony on-screen, even if I then ship him with everybody else in fandom. About Bruce/Tony, that is true. I fangirl over them both ways, but they would make such a beautiful couple. But there's fic around, so we're definitely not alone.
