you may have to check your WPA/AWA. i cant remember if it should be 2 or 4 weeks pay for every year of service. they may do a blanket offer though, ie: pay out any sick, annual leave then give you a token payout. one place i worked at 10 years ago, they gave us a blanket of $1k, which was ok because even though I had been there about 14 months, the first 6 i was hired as a temp so they wouldn't have counted
