If LCD means my monitor, my guess is no. Sometimes the static will be only in a specific window, the way that parts of the start menu are greyed out and other parts look reasonably okay. Clicking on things will sometimes make it worse, and in games the static scrolls across the texture of landscapes. It looks friggin cool.
Ah, I've always wanted a computer that was flawed in ways that nobody could figure out and that didn't make any sense. Of course this is because I assumed the flaws would make it finicky, endearing and closer to human, like our old van, not just troubling and annoying.
Not actually related to the post, but would you like me to drop Zardoz off at your house around 12:15-12:30ish tomorrow? Since I'll be at work until noon tomorrow, I figure it's easier, since I'm practically halfway to your house.
