Shameful to admit, I haven't even got a book or signed up for a class in terms of Japanese. I am putting it off to August when we will get a break from all the workshops and meetings - which is just an excuse, haha.
Ok :D I was already imagining you halfway through a second textbook or sth XD But, it is definitely not easy to find time and energy for classes while working full (over)time. I've been having more work than usually these days (which is totally awesome) and I find so little time for anything else!
But you are a full time mother and working! I don't remember who said it, but someone said working mother is a redundant word. Only if I had your energy and passion. +_+ I think I should pick up a phrase book... or an elementary grammar book to study on my commute. Then sign up for classes in August.
working mother is indeed a redundant word, if we take work in the broader sense, involving non-paid work as well, and if we presume that a mother is actively raising a child. Nevertheless, I can tell you based on a reliable source, that I'm really quite average in my efforts ;)
Ah, pre-study while commuting sounds like a brilliant plan. It might also be worth considering to pick up an audio course, but these are, of course, most effective if one has the liberty to attempt repeating out loud, which is probably not a good idea while on a bus/train. In any case - rooting for you!
