Pairing: Steve/Danny

Summary:
With Steve indisposed, Danny and Chin are easily the best-looking men in the room. The collection of high-brow campaign contributors and prominent Hawaiian businessmen sport tuxedos which easily cost triple what Danny had paid for his but they don’t wear them half as well.

They are just so adorably smitten, and so adorably goofy about it. I love this! And yes, Steve in his dress whites, I totally understand Danny's befuddlement. :D

Oooo, I knew Magnum was Navy, but I'd forgotten he was a SEAL.
That show was such a long time ago. LOL! But both definitely looked yummy in uniform. :-D

Lovely story! Though I did get confused by the descriptions of which uniform Steve was wearing. Just to clarify, here is the difference:
Full Dress Whites - Long "Choker" white jacket, white trousers, white shoes, full size medals, optional sword.
Dinner Dress White - (for black-tie/formal affairs), Short white jacket, black bow-tie, black pants, black shoes, gold cummerbund, mini-medals. (No sword.)
Hope that helps! I can't help it, I'm just a stickler for details. :-)

google failed me. Bah. I know they make a sabre arch at weddings and saw wedding photos of the men with the dinner dress whites, ergo, brain said that this worked.

It doesn't really help because it ruins my mental image :P

I'm usually a stickler for details too. I should hire you to be my uniform beta. They changed them all on me! Much less peanut butters than there used to be in JAG and early NCIS if what I read is correct...

Again, Darn google!
