I stayed about 12 meters away. Other, stupid, people walked right by its head. It did not like that, reared back and tried to bite them! I've seen the scars the males give each other. No thanks! Even if they are cute! I actually found a number online and called the seal in because the day was getting busier and it was hauled out on a really obvious and popular tourist spot. Hopefully the volunteer people came to set up the perimeter and 'guard' him :)

I love them so much and am glad they are doing a little better in the survival stakes now!

Good grief! People are so dumb sometimes. He was clearly taking a nap and didn't want to be bothered. He's a wild animal. Leave him alone.
