Holding out for your dad was preobably the best thing. It gave him time to think...and hopefully he realized that life is too short to sit and argue with the ones you love over stuff that may or may not be legitimate.

My mom told me about josh getting married, actually...she told me to mark off the day so I could go to the reception with her. I laughed so hard...not because I wouldn't want to go, but because I vaguely remember him having a great hate for me the last time I saw him. heh.
