Steve has been so good. Since coming home he has done most of the nappy changing and he feeds Adam expressed milk in the night to let me get a bit of a sleep.

I just stumbled across your journal randomly. I felt like I was looking a few days into my own future! Our baby hasn't quite arrived yet. I'm dying to see its face.

We don't know the gender. I wouldn't use the word 'exciting'......'momentous' maybe. :-) Being the dad involves a certain feeling of helplessness and uselessness.

Well my husband was invaluable and still is. You'll find you are far from useless. Even just telling her how much you appreciate what she has done/ been through will be very much needed. I hope eveything goes brilliantly for you both and can't wait to hear about your new baby.

Lou, he is gorgeous - congratulations again to you and Steve. Was pleased to read on the Gorum that Steve is doing lots so you're getting a chance to rest. :)
