I've never done that before. I really enjoyed it. I plan on doing it again soon. But next time won't be as special because today I saw 2 Cate Blanchett films. The Aviator followed by The Life Aquatic

Yes, I've been to a totally empty theater, just a friend and myself. It is really really fun to have the whole theater to yourself because youc an talk as much as you want to, if you choose.
But I don't remember what film. The reason it was empty probably has more to do with day of the week than quality of the film.

I saw Monster completely on my own, which was kind of neat but also kind of weird.
When I saw House of Flying Daggers last week it was just me and Patrick, until right near the end of the trailers when someone else came in. I was disappointed partly cos it would have been nice to be able to talk if we wanted to but also because Patrick tends to try and do it *anyway* and it'd be a hell of a lot less disturbing if there weren't other people in the theatre.
The other thing that was odd was that two old ladies came in right at the end of the film and stayed there, which completely threw off the end of the film in my head cos I was just, what on earth are they doing?! I think they must've been sneaking in to the next movie though.
