Watched Mulan, the last 10 minutes of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and...drumrollplease...The Good German. Loved it <3. More on these later.

I went to see Catch and Release tonight. I liked it in a very sappy kind of way. I have a secret crush on the actor Timothy Olymphant. I don't even know if that's how he spells his name. You know the guy though -- the one from Deadwood. Well, let's just say I wouldn't recommend Catch and Release until it comes out on DVD.

I'm kind of proud of them.

I went to see 'Half Nelson' at the cheap theater. Loved it. I'm so grateful to Westwood 8 for bringing movies like this to Omaha theaters.
I rented 'In Her Shoes' for the second time. I'm supposed to watch 'Lemony Snickett' this weekend on DVD, rented it from Blockbuster, but I'm hesitant to watch it. I don't like Jim Carey.

I did at long last see Memoirs of a Geisha. Beautiful movie.

I tried to watch 2 other movies last night after watching Julie Walking Home. And basically I couldnt' get into either movie. That's how it is when you watch a very powerful movie that really captures you. I watched Julie Walked Home today. It starred Miranda Otto. She is such a beautiful and talented actress. I really do think so. The premise of this movie: Her son dying of cancer and her marriage falling apart, Julie flees to Poland in search of a man who can heal using his hands. I watched the Pianist today. Interesting movie. It had Valentine Pelka in the movie. Only briefly, but I kept thinking, "I've met this man." I wish this incredibly cool actor made more movies.
