went with alex to see sebadoh at the metro last night - it was a great show and loads of fun all around as we both felt as if we were in high school again. i thought of ian flaherty, who was a huge fan, and even thought i saw him at one point. the audience looked like the '90s, there were fewer hipsters than i would usually expect to see at that

You got Arcade Fire tickets?! Jealous! I forgot about them until about 6 hours after they'd gone on sale, and of course by then they were all sold out.

I'd be interested in seeing some of those essays if you're allowed to share.

oh, damn... i wish you were here; i have to turn them back in at the end of business today. otherwise i would have been happy to have someone else see them. still, i hope your day off has done you a world of good!

p.s. a friend got the AF tickets thankfully, i would have forgotten if left to my own devices!

I woke up this morning with a worsened cold and god-awful cramps. The random freaking out yesterday makes significantly more sense now. Sorry about that.

well, i have had them for a few days but since i had that file to work on earlier this week i put off doing it until this morning, which is fairly typical of my MO.

oh, don't worry about it... any time you need to freak out feel free to come by. hope you feel better in time for casual friday! have i ever told you that i have never once contributed money for a charity casual day? drema has never stopped by my office to collect. not once. not in the old one, not in the new one. i always have my five bucks ready but end up spending it on lunch instead.
