i used to believe it until i encountered AP physics. i've never tried so hard in a class... yet i still couldn't pull it off!

oh dang that sucks big time. in classes like Math, i guess NOT rounding 89.5s is understandable since there's no real discrepencies about points (you either get the problem right or wrong.) But English classes are a different story. Who's to say that you shouldn't have gotten one more point from your essay? The discipline is so subjective so it's only fair if the teachers have a cushion for "questionable" points. You know what I mean?

haha btw, my friend had greene last year and she hated him like no other, so you're not alone.

that's actually true...i never thought about it that way. strict scoring based on objective material and lenient scoring based on subjective material

for some reason though, math teachers are usually the ones most likely to round :P
