The manor is relatively quiet that morning, with most residents still asleep. Squalo is one of them, curled comfortably in the perfect position to leech heat from Belle. He's sleeping deeply, so when it happens he doesn't even notice it happen

Belle rolls over and tugs him back down, not ready to wake up yet. This is early, even for her.

"Go back to sleep, asshat." She murmurs.

It takes a few seconds, then-

"VOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOII WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING IN MY BED!!?"

He scrambles to get free, and falls right on his ass on the side of the bed.

"Trying to sleep." She crawls to the edge of the bed to peer down at him. Then it sinks in.

"Oh. I have a Bovino to kill, don't I?"
