Desperation

I was listening to a radio show yesterday where they were discussing that if a man wanted to get laid easily, the night of Valentine's Day was the ideal time to do it. The host's idea was that any woman out at a bar or a club or whatever that night alone had no one send her flowers or give her chocolates or a card or whatever. Her resultant low self-esteem and desperation to be like all the "happy" couples would make her an easy target.

Sounds like this guy did the same thing on a grander scale.
