while i understand korea is a prideful country, i think the netizens blew this whole 'jay says korea is gay' thing out of proportion. for every problem or disagreement, there has to be a common ground or compromise. these messages were written 4 years ago when he was still stressing over training. uncertainties - whether he would debut or not.

i agree with you a certain extent. i do think that jay did the wrong thing by posting those sort of hateful comments about a country where his roots are from- his parents, relatives, his blood, his culture. it's understandable that fans & haters would react in this way. however, going as far as to having an online petition to see who wants him to commit suicide is going too far. this all too well reminds me of the situation with super junior & their crazy, outrageous fan group. all while this happening, i think jyp is making a big mistake by not officially releasing any news about this situation. netizens obviously are making this into a way bigger ordeal than it really is, considering that these comments were posted 4 years ago. it's as if koreans will never let a single person make a mistake in their life. pretty rude if you ask me. and to be honest, fans are getting too involved right now. i think we all just need to take a deep breath, step back, and wait for official news. it's obvious that jay would be feeling guilty in this

i agree with that too but that's why i said there should be a compromise.. 4 years ago vs. now. jay is so mature now as not only a leader but a korean. there are things called "second chances" but i guess that isn't something common if they are SO surprised and SO exasperated about this.
