I FINALLY found a recipe for Bok Tong Go, Chinese Rice cake. My dad and I used to drift around China town eating these when I was a kid. You can't buy them in Texas. At least no where that I've found ( Read more... )

sodium bicarb should be baking soda -- its the potassium carbonate that iwonder at. is that baking powder?

in the picture it appears to be a liquid...and i actually DID think about that, but not until after I posted. The 'it's in a bottle in the picture' thing threw me off...
