You know what bugs me? RBI stands for Runs Batted In. So, if a deer is a deer and 2 mooses are 2 moose then why are 37 Runs Batted In (RBI) pronounced 37 RBIs? "So and so has knocked in 839,038,278 RBIs this season ( Read more... )

it was a joke. Most people say PIN number, but PIN stands for personal identification number. I felt that it was in the same vain as your post.
