so, i'm singing with a pick-up group doing an a cappella RENT medley (much more fun than the cracked out one that we did with NV), and it is very inspiring. there are a couple of people in the group who told me "ooh, i'm not really a singer!" but to me the group has the kind of raw vocal blend embodied in Rent songs sung by the broadway cast. I
