Today was a really fun day at work. Even though the customer flow was really slow, time seemed to go by really fast. Apparently you can walk around in the snow for a few hours with holes in your shoes and not get your feet wet but stand in the kitchen for ten seconds and get your socks soaked in a puddle your stupid cat left by knocking over its water bowl all the time. The cat is stupid and hateful, my socks are wet. I'm unimpressed.

I took the bus home from work today and after it turned up onto Division Street it binged and said "Approaching Queen Street" and then it announced all the other street stops all the way up! Just like a real city's transit system!

My manager was going to buy a new chair for the back office of the store because she was sick of sitting on a hard wooden chair all day and leaving with a sore bum, back, etc. While looking through the office supply catalog she discovered that an office chair would cost the same amount as a massaging seat cushion. So she got that!

Since the work schedules for up to December 21st are already up, I felt compelled to go out and get myself a new day planner for 2009. I keep wanting to flip through January and February, I need to keep thinking ahead!
