So it's difficult for me to have to allude
To all this rude crude verbal baggage But I manage cuz I'm a savage inside'>

"I'm having trouble reading this, it's boring."

Fiona was flipping drearily through her Transfiguration book - the act in itself would likely send McGonagall to the Hospital Wing out of pure shock that she ever opened it. Glynna glanced over with an all too familiar tired expression.

".... Maybe if you tried reading it ... that would help ..." she offered, passively.

"Nah," Fiona slung the book shut without bothering to move when it threatened to teeter over the edge of the table. Instead she stood up, and moved around the desk before flopping down on the floor lazily.

Glynna instantly rolled her eyes. "Of course not."

"Who cares about study," Fiona elongated every vowel. "We do that all the time. You should stop studying."

"I've got an essay due in two days," was Glynna's impassive reply.

"So? That's two days you've got," said Fiona, leaning up on her arm and watching Glynna until she put her quill down. There was a thirty second period of silent conversation between the two of them before Glynna's final groan.

"Fine," she sighed. "What's up?"

"So --" said Fiona, as if she was continuing from some implied segue, "Janus got back and he was all furnishing the tree house --"

"So I heard."

"-- yeah and you know, generally being ..." a wave of Fiona's hand was the most descriptive language in her possession. "You know. And so anyway we were like kissing and stuff and like - I dunno if you've ever --" Fiona paused, snorted and shook her head. "Nevermind. You've never."

By this point Glynna's eyes were about the size of a galleon and her cheeks probably matched the colour of Fiona's Gryffindor crest. Fiona only smirked some more.

"Yeah, like I said. So - but we were, sorta. And like ... I dunno, it was ... enjoyable and cool and stuff ..."

"Oh my god, Fiona ..."

Nothing about the pitch of Glynna's voice could deter Fiona from her story. The aim now was two-fold: she could get the feelings out and make fun of her sister all in one go. Somehow it seemed a relieving prospect.

"But then like -" Fiona gave a wide shrug. "He just - you know. You know."

It took some creative guestures for Glynna's expression to change from passive detachment to horrified repulsion in half a second.

"Oh - my god, why are you talking to me about this? I don't want that image in my head!" Glynna pressed her fingers so hard on her head as though they could somehow reach in and yank the thought out.

By this point, unfortunately, Fiona was laughing far too hard. Her attempts to get to the point were drowned in laughter. When finally she managed, "No, no, but I'm serious", Glynna already had her books clutched to her chest with a disgruntled crinkle of her nose pointed squarely at Fiona.

"Seriously? You're so gross!"

Fiona had to push herself up and chase after her when she realised Glynna was actually going back to her dorm.

"You'd better stop being so freaking gross if you want this conversation to continue," Glynna said as they walked, her pitch had not quite levelled yet.

"But it's sex, Glynna, it's not gonna be any less 'gross', and believe me it isn't when you're all turned on and stuff -- although let me tell you it's really sticky--"

"What did I just say!" yelped Glynna as though Fiona had stuck a nail in her foot.

"Oh my god you are a serious prude."

"Just shut up."
