I understand that's why this is being shown on Lifetime, seeing as that's the 'lady network' but truly this is mind-boggling. Women are property, bartered and traded, and weeded out when they no longer can bear children. Meanwhile, young sons are sent off as 'Lost Boys' who are supposed sinners but truly they're just competition for the older men who want the younger wives.
